This project was crafted on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, and the Wiradjuri people of the Wiradjuri nation.
We pay our respects to their elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

ABOUT
HYPER//ECHO was a web-based “zone” where players were invited to explore this virtual space, and leave something behind — buildings and messages for other players to discover. Over the course of the 3-month exhibition, these structures gradually decayed; buildings became overgrown ruins, messages became unreadable.
We are all members of FIREPIT, a weird videogames and digital art collective based in Melbourne, Australia. We're a community of creative folks who like to hang out, IRL or online.
